Trying to save a precious flower

Well today has been a great day other than it being 100 degrees outside and my kids have cabin fever. I am not going to complain I love the warm weather. My girls are so funny and Kennedy is a trip. Yesterday we were outside and she picked a flower for me and she wanted me to wear it in my hair so I did. Well, by the afternoon I forgot that I had it in my hair and it fell out. Kennedy found it on the floor and said mommy the flower is bleeding. I said honey that flower is not bleeding it has wilted because it is not in the ground. She said it needs water and I said yes so then she said well we need to put it in water then!!! Well she went to put it in water but now I can not find it. I guess she put it in the toilet and then got flushed. Sorry flower my daughter was trying to save you.

Looking a little situations like this helps me to see the innocence that a child has and that they are so precious and a gift from God. The flower needed water to live and I as a Chrisitain need the living water to live. Jesus is the water that I need and he is my everlasting.

Please read Psalms 127:3-5 Children are a true blessing.

Another great recipe that I want to share is my mother's to "Die for banana pudding": (My mother was a true blessing and I miss her so much). I hope you can make this wonderful desert and share with others.
1 package of cream cheese
1 container of cool whip
6-8 bananas
1 can of eagle brand milk
1 box of vanilla wafers
1.5 cups of milk (organic milk is best)

1. Mix cream cheese, eagle brand milk, cool whip and mix
2. Layer with mixture, bananas, and vanilla wafers
3. Place in the freg. for 5-10 hours
4. Serve cold
5. Enjoy

As I was writing this new blog Kennedy looks at me and says mommy I am a super hero. I said what's your name she said Super hero girl and never fear mommy. How original Kennedy:)
