Easter 2011

Easter was great this year with all the excitement of the girls Easter Egg hunt with school, Easter program and Easter Sunday at Hyde Park Church.

Soccer Mom

I am now a "Soccer Mom" .  Kennedy has wanted to play soccer since last year.  So, Channing signed her up and now she is a Tiger for the Pembroke Soccer Association.  She loves soccer and her team won Saturday.

The Worst Hail Storm....

This is a storm that I will not forget.  We had 2 large hail storms this afternoon with hail that fell from the sky that was baseball and golf ball size.  I can not remember a time that I saw hail this size before.  When the hail was falling I thought the house was going to cave in.
We are thankful and bless that our home was not damaged. Here are some photos of the hail storm.

It looks like snow in the spring.

The fog that appeared after the storm.
The golf ball and baseball size hail.

Our neighbor made a chocolate cake for us and it was wonderful.  That is what we ate for supper.  I know that cake is not a good meal but it does have (milk and egg) doesn't that count.

Kennedy and Brooklyn's new little friend

Thursday and Friday my friend Jada brought her little fellow (Xander) over for me to watch while she worked on her dissertation research.  The girls have fallen in love with him and especially Kennedy she did not want him to go home.
They ate their little snack and watch Elmo for 5 minutes if that.  It is hard to get a 4 year old, 20 month old and 19 month old to sit still for a long time.  Xander you are a little blessing and we hope to see you soon.

My buddies

Kennedy loves Deacon and Sampson so much. I think she is going to be a veterinarian. Deacon and Samspson weigh over 130 lbs each and she weighs 31 lbs. You would think a little girl would be scared of them but she is not.

what is behind the smile

Kennedy had to get her "school" shots today. It was very hard for the both of us because she had to get five (2 in each arm and 1 on the leg). She is a happy girl now but that was not true a few hours ago. She now wants to show off her bandages.
