Tea Party

Kennedy and Brooklyn went to their first tea party a few weeks ago. Lindsey and her friend Emily had the little tea party. Lindsey is the best babysitter.  We love you Lindsey!!!!

Winter time (2011)

The Jone's family has been very busy and I thought I would share these pictures to show you what the girls have been up to during the cold, winter season.

 Kennedy loves the new ipad.  She learned to work it within 10 minutes.  She thinks it is her school work and class.  She is doing Kindergarden homeschooling curriculum and we found a great app so that she can do her math.  She loves it!!

 Kennedy-These are her favorite pj's.  They have too small but she wants to wear them every night.

 Kennedy is taking ballet with the best teacher April Oxendine.  She is learning so much about ballet.

 It has been so cold and this is Brooklyn in her snow suit before our adventure outside.  (Ready for the spring time and the sun shine).

One more month

Channing parents are taking the entire family to Disney in one month. So the in laws got the condo and others details to the trip organized. I am organizing Kennedy's little event with the Princesses at Disney for her birthday.
For her birthday I usually get a special outfit. So this year Kennedy and Brooklyn are wearing matching outfits made by a friend from Goldsboro (JEANAS BEANAS). When she sent me the picture today I was so excited.
Now how do I get Kennedy to realize one more month. She has asked Channing and I everyday since November.

counting calories

I have lost 6 lbs. I am almost at my ideal weight. Counting calories is working. Loving it!!!!!!

Change of plans (Blessed)

This weekend we went to the beach to see our friends JD and Jennifer Locklear and to let our kids plays.  Well Channing was going to play golf with JD on Saturday morning so when we got up that morning he had a text  from JD that said that his mom and wife are not feeling well.  So we decide to take the girls out to ride around the beach and then go to WalMart and get some snacks.  (What kid does not like to go to WalMart?) 

That evening we got a phone call from our dear friends Paul and Beverly Brooks.  Her dad is a pastor at Bethany Bible Chapel in Conway, SC and they were coming down Sunday morning for a special celebration at church.  They invited us to come and it would only be about a 35 -40 minute ride.  So this morning we packed the girls up and off we go to church and to a unknown area.  When we go there everyone was so friendly and happy to see people from Pembroke.  Two precious ladies took me to the nursery to see if the girls wants to stay so I was very scared at first because this is a new place for me and my girls.  But to my surprise Brooklyn my child that does not like me leave her anywhere got right down and started to play.  Kennedy was a little scared but then she warmed up to her new surroundings. 

During service I would think of how the girls were doing in the nursery but when I went to pick them up the ladies said they did so good.  We ate at the church and so many people came up to us to say how beautiful the girls were and that we were blessed.  Brooklyn would go around to everyone and want to sit with them.  She just loved it and the attention!!!  Kennedy wanted to play with Paul and Bev's five boys I not sure if I like this becuase she loves those boys.  (especailly when she gets older)  (What are we going to do Bev?)

The Lord had this in his plans for us today and I am so glad he did.  I was touched by the love and passion that Bethany Bible Chapel gave my family today.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare [1] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Jeremiah 29:11

Jones update

This weekend we were going to visit with some of our good friends at the beach but they have been taken over by a stomach bug. So we are just hanging out at the beach with the girls. Brooklyn is 17 months old today and Kennedy will be 4 years old in a month. We have been very busy the past few weeks. I am working with the local community college as there webmaster and social media administrator. I have a wonderful young lady that watches the girls when I am away from the house. We are still in the process of picking out a house plan. Channing and I bought all of our hardwood and tile flooring at an auction last weekend. We love this stage of house planning so that we can pick out items for the house.

Channing and I are attending a bible study at our friends house from church beverly and Paul brooks it is awesome.

My life can get busy but I desire to be in the Lords will.
